Destin, FL: Extended Family Session
This was my very first time shooting on a beach. I had to heavily lean into the basics of photography because the sun and the sand were definitely working against each shot. We were here at the end of November, which feels like the sun sets much faster this time of year. So we had about 30 minutes from the time the sun finally chilled out to get as many picture combos as possible before we lost daylight. In each picture, you can see how the light is changing between yellows, pinks, and blues. It gave each picture some of its own individuality while still looking like a cohesive gallery.
I know Ohio is not our family's final destination. Maybe we’ll find ourselves closer to the beach in our next move so I can get more chances to have a reason to be down by the water

Just go to the beach! No other recommendations. Be prepared to immediately want to get in the water and build a sandcastle.
