For anyone who knows our little family personally, you know we are the definition of transient. Since 2015, we have lived in 6 different states. While I will always claim to be a native Texan, my body and soul have constantly needed to explore.
All the while, carting our 2 little ones and 75-pound dog with us! After making a couple of cross-country drives with my kiddos, I feel like I can do anything. Just know if you ride in my car, I will make a 2-hour detour if it means a stop at Buc-ees for some banana pudding and my favorite chapstick.
My babies are what changed my life. To have these two little pieces of myself walking out into the world as their own people still blows my mind. When I started taking photos, it was out of sheer desperation to make sure I didn’t miss a single moment with them. Time really is a thief!"

SPECIAL MOMENTS IS
For as long as I can remember, I have always been a creative person. I vividly remember my 5th-grade choir show where we dressed up as our dream future careers. So, of course, I wore my cutest French beret and grabbed my plastic watercolor tray, manifesting a future as the next artistic prodigy. To this day, I still regret not taking more ceramic classes in high school.
Oddly, when it became my time to go out into the world and make my own way, I went to business school. I got a degree in management and accounting and began using my Type A organizational powers to help other small businesses manage their money.
After my daughter was born, it felt like the first time I granted myself space to take a break from managing the day-to-day grind. I missed the opportunity to be creative, and now I had this sweet baby to love on with time moving uncontrollably. I picked up a camera and started teaching myself right away.
Soon, it became another extension of myself. My camera became another view of the places and people around me. I was able to appreciate my surroundings as my perspective was elevated by the people who I loved most now being featured in my art. It has now become my greatest tool of personal expression.

Creativity and Composition
Your session is tailored to your needs, which also means your vision combined with my own personal creativity composes pictures exclusive to you. No copy and paste happening here! When preparing for your session, I do my due diligence with careful consideration of your ideal outcome for your final edits. I will scout your preferred locations ahead of time or show you some of my favorite spots. I’ll tie in all the little details like your clothes, blankets, or mini-session theming to produce a perfectly designed final product while still capturing natural moments.
Lighting
I like to affectionately refer to myself as a “true light” photographer. This means I heavily rely on the light during your session to influence the aesthetic of your images. If we venture out during sunset, with the prized golden hour of outdoor shooting, your photos will reflect the essence of ethereal golden light. If we book an industrial studio space, anticipate a moody atmosphere. Shooting with light as our influence allows each session to take on its own unique qualities, guaranteeing you one-of-a-kind photos.
Posing
This is the awkward part. The “what do I do with my hands” part. But don't stress! Half the battle of creating natural moments in photos is making sure your hands have something to do. I will prompt you through our entire session so your focus will be on things like dancing, telling jokes, snuggling your babies, and engaging in more natural movements to reflect genuine images.
Confidence
There is no space allowed in our session to have anyone degrade the way they look. The time you spend in front of my camera is designed to be a body-positive and uplifting experience. If a pose feels uncomfortable or looks stiff, we will readjust. You will receive lots of encouragement during our shoot time, while I give you real-time feedback on what is working to reflect your best self. I’ll capture multiple angles, and when you receive your final gallery, you’ll have many options to choose from, so you can feel the most beautiful in your photos.
Editing
All of your final images will be professionally retouched and enhanced. This is the artistic component of my work where I use our lighting and location to guide the vibe of your photos. I intentionally stay away from using preset editing tools so that each batch of photos receives personalized edits. I’ll take extra care to remove any distractions in the background, fix any closed eyes, and ensure that any imperfections are removed to make sure your final edits are flawless.
Client Portal
Your images will be delivered to your online gallery, providing you with access to digital downloads, social sharing, and product purchases. This email will resemble the one you received for your session invoice and client contract, which were also delivered through the same platform. All sessions are safeguarded by client contracts that outline every aspect of your photoshoot, including policies for rescheduling, refunds, deposits, and more. Your invoice will also detail any agreed-upon payment schedule, studio reservations, and pre-payments. Additionally, your online access to your photos will enable you to purchase additional prints or canvases of your images.
