Springboro, OH: Fall Senior Session

IIt’s pretty well known that photographers keep their most prized shooting locations under wraps. There’s nothing like showing up to your favorite spot to find 10 other sessions going on around you and spending extra hours in post scrubbing photobombers out of pictures. But on this rare occasion, I’ll let you know that the historic town of Lebanon, Ohio, has the MOST amazing backdrops and quiet corners to really get you the most amazing photos!

I made it my own personal challenge to see how many different landscapes and backdrops we could shoot on this night for my client's senior pictures. (It was 16!) But beyond just taking pictures, it’s become one of my favorite places to hang out in Ohio. It’s literally like stepping into a Hallmark movie.

Client Tips!

Senior sessions involve lots of props, outfits, options, and anything you can think of that helps capture your personality in what are essentially photos that reflect the last of your childhood. I really recommend a minimum of 2 outfit changes between something formal and casual. The best tip for a senior session is a folding wagon. My cart is a beach wagon that collapses to fit in the car but holds all the essentials. So while you’re running from place to place, your outfit changes are stored safely and nothing gets lost while changing shooting locations.

If you’re planning on outfit changes, make sure you know the best places for a fast change. This is why historic Lebanon is one of the best because there are 2 public restrooms that sat along our shooting route. City of Lebanon, Sponsor Me!!
